"I viewed Crusoe Garden Rooms online and looked at the reviews and they looked very good, I contacted the owner Mr Trevor Naylor and made an appointment to come to his house to visit his own garden room. On meeting with Trevor there were no sleazy sales tactics, what the product has to offer speaks for itself - quality.
Through the planning and design Trevor was extremely helpful and offered some great advice he has gained from past builds. Even after the initial design was completed Trevor was flexible and allowed me to make changes to the build.
I found all of the guys working for Trevor to be very polite and courteous, I had many questions during the build and at all stages of the build they were extremely helpful in explaining each stage of the build ...each day the site was cleaned and left clean and tidy.
As the days passed the garden room was built and the finish was beyond my wildest dreams, what looks like a show home in my back garden!! I couldn’t be happier!!
There is nothing more satisfying than dealing with honest and open people who have pride in the quality of their product and Crusoe Garden Rooms deliver quality which is so refreshing in this day and age. There are few family businesses around at the moment everything is run by corporate larger companies who are difficult to deal with and much of your money goes on expensive showrooms or sales personnel. “We contacted Crusoe to discuss our slightly ‘different’ project in March. Our plan was to install a swim spa at the bottom of our garden and build a contemporary garden building around it. We discussed the build project with 3 companies but chose Crusoe as we were impressed with the flexibility of the design and build. For us, the fact that Crusoe build everything on site and not in prefabricated sections, meant we could apply a lot of flexibility to the build. We were particularly impressed with Crusoe’s ‘can do’ approach to this unique project.
The swim spa was set 40cm into the ground with an inspection pit around it – this meant that Crusoe had to incorporate a false floor, that could also be removed for access. The room measures 6.5m x 4m with a separate 2m x 2m store room to the side.
Trevor, Jack & Freddie carried out the build with the highest levels of professionalism, skill and consideration and the project was completed on time. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and cannot thank Crusoe enough for all the help in making our dream become a reality ! "Trevor has been fantastic to work with, right from the first email, the first site visit, thru to talking me thru how things work (windows, doors, underfloor heating, electrics etc) at the end and has made the whole process incredibly easy and good fun. I had originally planned to try and ‘manage it myself’ and organise different bits of the building from different sources but I am so pleased I went for the ‘easy option’ of asking Crusoe to do it for me. A little bit more money but worth every extra penny and a finished product which I am very happy with.
The team were so easy to have around, and just got on with the building work without any difficulties at all. It was lovely to see it taking shape, but also to be included in the ‘last minute’ decisions needed on placing sockets, plumbing, lights etc which made it all the more personal. Deliveries of materials over the last couple of weeks was very easy, with Trevor being on the ball about everything that was going on - notifying me of what was happening day by day. The ‘boys’ worked quickly, quietly and efficiently and it all looks fantastic. The site was left in a good clean state too which really helped, and apart from a bit of landscaping around the building which we want to do it is all ready to go. So exciting... Thank you!"
"Our garden room is absolutely brilliant - we love how peaceful it is and have enjoyed spending time in here every day since it was built. We cannot praise Trevor, Jack and the team highly enough for their professionalism, attention to detail and customer service. We initially made contact with Trevor after seeing Crusoe Garden Rooms online and he was very accommodating in listening to what we wanted to use the room for and helping us design the best room to fit in the space we had. We are delighted with our Crusoe Garden Room as it is exactly what we wanted and needed. It is such a pleasure to look at with its beautiful cedar cladding. An extra door was created for the integral shed. We saw that a great deal of time was taken to match the cladding tones and lines of the door with those on the body of the shed. We love this care and attention to detail. Looking at our garden room from the house puts a smile on our faces!

'My wife wanted a Studio in our back garden, not something one buys every day! We visited several suppliers and found it all a bit confusing. Then by pure chance we came across Crusoe Garden Room. They are local to us so we visited them. It was then we met Trevor and Emma. What a difference. Full information and Trevor even came to our home and gave advice on site. This was extremely helpful. Having commissioned them to construct the Studio to our design (something no one else offered) we were delighted with the professionalism displayed. Trevor and Jack started the build on the day promised. All construction took place on site enabling us to see that all the materials used were of the best quality. Nothing was too much for them.
